When I was discharged from the hospital, I was put in an out-patient program to educate on mental health and coping strategies. One of the biggest things that our teacher, C, taught us, was that despite the things that DO go wrong, there is a success not far away.
I got inspired to start posting my daily successes, which I called ‘Victories’, before I went to sleep at night. Most days I was good about it, some days I slipped. I’m going to endeavour to write them here and start up again, because it’s inspired some of my friends. If I, a simple little lady from Canada, can inspire someone, then shit, I might as well keep on going.
So today’s victories are:
Woke up despite an exhausting night.
Made it to my counselling appointment.
Took care of the baby despite the exhaustion.
Had a fun visit with my grandmother.
Overcame some hefty grumpiness during the day.
Problem-solved an issue with the house.

For me, writing is a great stress reliever. I can let my mind wander and let my emotions run free in a way that is generally not possible in my normal everyday life. My writings run the gamut in terms of style and genre – for instance my first novel is a historical romance set in the Civil War, but some of the other things I have in the works are fantasy or thrillers, among other things.

Sigyn
Ok, so I’m at the point with Sigyn that I know everything I can know about the few times she is mentioned. What I want to know is are there any of you that have UPG that you’d be willing to share? On my end I associated her with water and earth, but specifically earth that’s near water. She also mentioned liking coral, and dolphins.
My personal experience with Sigyn is an association with lavender in everything. from candles to incense. She is associated with rose quartz (Known for helping one’s compassion) and amethyst (inspiration and creativity.)
She is very patient and can be understanding of your flaws and circumstances of worship. I have not had her be angry at me but her sadness at my decisions and lies has been reprimending enough (Its terrible to me, to be the reason she is sad 😦 )
I have had her come to a friend because of his loss of a child although he had no previous experience with the norse pantheon. Perhaps because he mentioned that he was having diffaculty with the anniversary of the loss and her helping another with that. Of course, children are very special to her. She has come across as motherly, and worshiping her includes her family. I found that Loki tagged along a little.

Did you know: Chris Evans gets panic attacks. Yes, he does. This is one reason why he’s very private and didn’t really do any meet-and-greets on the Avengers’ sets.
It amazes and inspired me that a man who does what he does can do it, even with an anxiety disorder. You go, Chris.
This is why I get so upset when I hear negative comments about Chris and how he doesn’t seem as out-going as the rest of the Avengers cast. I remember hearing people complain about how he’s ‘rude’ and the like and it’s sad, because I highly doubt he intends to come off that way, he’s just more reserved than the others.
I remember hearing once that he actually went to seek psychiatric help before accepting the role of Captain America because of how anxious he felt regarding it. As well as the fact that he already played another Marvel superhero and he was concerned how comic fans would react to his playing another hero in that universe.
Just because someone’s in the entertainment industry doesn’t mean they’re going to be incredibly outgoing off camera just as much as they appear to be on camera. Some people just really enjoy acting; they’re not the characters they portray nor are they like their costars nor are they going to be incredibly outgoing because of their choice of career.
Now I’m really starting to root for this guy. Because, well. I kind of get the point more accurately than I wish I did.
Shrine for Sigyn and Her Family
1: Narvi and Vali (combined for this picture). The fish usually only holds Narvi’s candy (blue raspberry Sourhead, blueberry Jolly Rancher, and grape Jolly Rancher). Vali’s candy has been left to sit near the dinosaur, but He’ll be getting something to put candy on in the future. (His candy includes an apple Sourhead, green apple Jolly Rancher, and a cherry Jolly Rancher.)
Note: If your room gets too hot, the Jolly Rancher will melt through the wrapping and it’ll look like you’ve been experimenting with fake blood when trying to pry the sticky cherry mess from the shelf. (Fake blood seems like horribly irony when it comes to the candy being for Vali.)

2: Loki. He has a margarita glass full of cinnamon hard candies with a cinnamon Jolly Rancher and a Fireball jawbreaker (thing) on top. I’m not a knowledgeable stone person, but I thought a pink and black mixed stone was okay for Him. The yarn thing was actually a gift from someone (supposed to be a friendship bracelet, but it was gifted before getting the excess yarn cut off and getting its finishing touches). I have it as a hypothetical gift from Sigyn as a Child to Loki, since I hold the view that They were friends long before They were both aware of being in love (Sigyn as a Child =/= Sigyn as Bride). “I Promise You My Love” is a book of various love poems collected together by Susan Polis Schutz, which represents Loki and Sigyn’s pre-kid marriage.
Fun fact: This started out as being devoted to Sigyn as a Child with touches of Loki stuff for Their Marriage. Their love is so inspirational, but I need to stop myself before I get overwhelmed with feelings.

3: Sigyn. Whether they’re visible in this or not, there are three different butterfly necklaces (plus a butterfly choker in the red bag). The butterfly necklace and the flower necklace on the Buttermilk box are friendship necklaces (flower one used to be a mood detecting one as well, but it’s been stuck on blue for years).
She gets butterscotch hard candies, and the vaguely pink thing in the picture is a pink rock. The white blob is a crushed paper (current shadow work thing), and there’s technically another shadow work paper in the tall glass. Yes, that glass has lady bugs and hearts on it (which say love bug). I wasn’t kidding when I said this started out focused on Sigyn as a Child. I figure the bowl doesn’t need explaining.

4: Putting it all together on the shelf. The mini baseball bats are for Narvi and Vali and relate to how I was conveyed Narvi’s death went down. I’ll eventually replace the Jolly Rancher candies for Narvi and Vali, but I definitely need to get something for Vali’s to sit on (no repeating of the fake blood incident).
Notice that there’s a perfect space in the back for something to go – I don’t care how long it takes, I will get Sigyn and Loki by Vera-Ist-44 and put it there.
